The Delulu Meter
Privacy
Updated 25 July 2026What we do with your data when you upload a conversation. Operated by The Delulu Meter. For lawful bases and your formal rights, see GDPR & your rights.
In short
- Your screenshots are never stored — used to make the verdict, then discarded.
- We keep only an anonymised verdict, with names removed, so your link works.
- No accounts, no passwords, no advertising or cross-site tracking.
- We never see your card details — a separate processor handles payments.
Your screenshots
Held in memory only for the few seconds it takes to generate your verdict, then discarded. They are never written to disk or storage — there is no code path that saves them. To produce the verdict, they’re sent to our AI provider for analysis and not kept afterwards.
Your verdict
When a conversation produces a shareable verdict, we store an anonymised copy — personal names are stripped and replaced with neutral words like “Him”, “Her” or “Them” before anything is saved. That redacted copy is the only copy, so your share link and card can never show a real name or a screenshot. Results flagged as possible harm, or too thin to judge, are not stored at all. Each stored verdict is reachable only through its own unguessable link.
Your IP address
To limit free verdicts per person per hour, we store a one-way hash (SHA-256) of your IP address plus a secret value, and a short-lived counter. The counter expires within about an hour, and the hash can’t be reversed to your IP.
Payments
Payments are handled by Dodo Payments as merchant of record. You enter card details on their checkout — we never see or store them. We keep only whether a verdict was paid for, and any receipt details the processor returns.
Analytics
Minimal, privacy-preserving usage data — which screens are viewed, whether an upload worked, in-app browser vs normal browser. Never your name or your messages.
Who processes your data
- Anthropic (Claude) & OpenAI (fallback) — analyse screenshots to produce the verdict.
- Neon — database of anonymised verdicts.
- Upstash — short-lived rate-limit counters.
- Vercel — hosting.
- Dodo Payments — payments.
Providers may process data outside your country, including the US, under appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses. Under our AI providers’ API terms, data sent via their API isn’t used to train their models.
How long we keep it
- Screenshots — discarded within seconds.
- Anonymised verdicts — until you ask us to delete them.
- Rate-limit counters — expire within about an hour.
- Payment records — as long as tax and accounting law requires.
Your rights
No accounts means your share link is your key: to delete a stored verdict, email us the link. You also have full data rights (access, correction, erasure and more) — see GDPR & your rights.
Age, cookies & security
The Delulu Meter is for people aged 16+. We use no advertising or tracking cookies (only strictly necessary storage). We minimise what we hold, strip names before saving, hash IP addresses, and encrypt data in transit — keeping little is our main protection.
