The Delulu Meter

GDPR & Your Rights

Updated 25 July 2026

Your rights under the EU and UK GDPR, extended to everyone who uses The Delulu Meter. Read it with the Privacy policy, which covers what we do and don’t keep.

In short

  • You can ask us to access, correct, delete, restrict, port or stop using your data — and withdraw consent — at any time, by emailing support@thedelulumeter.com.

Who is responsible

The data controller is The Delulu Meter, contactable at support@thedelulumeter.com.

What we process, and why

  • Your verdict, from the screenshots you upload — to perform the service you requested, Art 6(1)(b).
  • Sensitive content. A conversation may reveal special-category data (e.g. health, relationships, sexual orientation). We process it only to give the verdict you asked for, on your explicit consent in uploading it, Art 9(2)(a) — and minimise it: screenshots are never stored, names removed before saving.
  • Rate limiting via a hashed IP — legitimate interest in preventing abuse and cost, Art 6(1)(f).
  • Payments — contract, Art 6(1)(b), and legal accounting obligations, Art 6(1)(c).
  • Analytics — legitimate interest in improving the product, using minimal, non-identifying data, Art 6(1)(f).

Automated processing

Your verdict is produced automatically, without human review. Because it’s entertainment with no legal or similarly significant effect, it isn’t the kind of automated decision restricted by Article 22. You can still reach a human about any verdict.

Your rights

  • Access — what we hold about you.
  • Rectification — correct inaccurate data.
  • Erasure — delete your data, such as a stored verdict.
  • Restriction — limit how we use it.
  • Portability — receive certain data in a portable format.
  • Object — to processing based on legitimate interests.
  • Withdraw consent — at any time, without affecting past processing.

How to exercise them

Email support@thedelulumeter.com with what you’d like. As there are no accounts, for a request about a specific verdict include its share link. We respond within the time the law allows (generally one month), free for a reasonable request.

Retention & transfers

Retention is set out in the Privacy policy: screenshots go within seconds, rate-limit counters within about an hour, anonymised verdicts until you delete them, payment records only as long as the law requires. Some providers process data outside the EU/UK, including the US, under safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Complaints & contact

Please contact us first at support@thedelulumeter.com so we can help. You can also complain to a regulator — for example the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) in the UK, or the supervisory authority in your own country.
